Contract:
This is a binding contract for adoption fees of a canine. A deposit is required to hold the canine until pickup date that is arranged between the seller and buyer.
If your puppy or puppies are not picked up at the scheduled time (usually at six weeks old), there will be an additional charge for bording at $7.50 per day per puppy. Deposit will only be refunded in the event the canine expired before the scheduled pickup date. No refund of deposit or full payment will be given for any reason. For example, buyer changes their mind or does not contact seller and pickup date has expired. Payment in full is due at the time of pickup. Health is guaranteed for three days after pickup. It is the responsibility of the buyer to select a veterinarian for assessment of your puppy's health. Failure to abide by these terms will result in the loss of any payment. By signing this contract you understand the terms and conditions as stated. (back to top of page)

We understand waiting for a litter is sometimes hard when you want a puppy now, but it is worth the wait. Many adopt a second puppy from us when we have another litter because we are responsible breeders. We breed for individuals who want a Rat Terrier as a companion. We do not “make a living” breeding. Monies are put in an account specifically for the care and necessities of our pets including professional services provided by our veterinarian. It is our goal to provide this breed for companions and even as service dogs for people with special needs. We welcome you to visit the whole family! You can see for yourself that we love our Rat Terriers and provide them a stimulating and healthy environment. We also encourage you to consider adopting an older Rat Terrier from the American Rat Terrier Rescue. They need good homes too!

We continue to take online courses and research dog obedience training, grooming, and general health concerns for animals. Although our Rat Terriers are UKC registered, we are not members of UKC or AKC organizations. Unnecessary expenses for memberships are a savings for us and you. Our primary goal is to provide healthy Rat Terriers, a specific breed that we know (for certain) its characteristics in the proper environment.  (back to top of page)
